Sawyer – Conrad Edward Krieger, 56, lifelong resident of Sawyer, died at 11 p.m. Monday in the University hospital, Ann Arbor, where he had been a patient for the past four months.
Mr. Krieger was born in Sawyer, March 17, 1906, the son of Christopher and Wilhelmina Krieger. He married Olga Lunog on Dec. 28, 1929 in Sawyer.
Mr. Krieger was employed as a welder for the New York Central railroad. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran church of Sawyer.
Survivors include his widow; one son, Norman of New Troy; one daughter, Janice, at home; six grandchildren; one brother, Emil of St. Joseph and three sisters, Mrs. Olga Schmidt and Mrs. Henrietta Hak of Sawyer, and Mrs. Elsie Hause of Baroda.
