Mrs. Krieger was born June 30, 1909, in Sawyer, Michigan to Rudolph and Amelia (Prill) Lunog. On December 28, 1929 she married Conrad Krieger. Mr. Krieger preceded her in death on August 6, 1962.
Mrs. Krieger was a skilled gardener, using her talents at Westhauser Nursery and Chikaming Gardens. She was a member Trinity Lutheran Church in Sawyer, where she sang in the choir and belonged to the Ladies Aide. Mrs. Krieger enjoyed bowling, and loved sewing and babysitting her grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Norman J. (Jeannine) Krieger of New Troy, Michigan and Janice D. Briese of Sawyer; grandchildren, Kathi Beckman, Timothy Krieger, Kim Krieger, Tammie Schmidt, Sherrie Hausman, Skip Krieger, Tammy Crutcher, Lee Briese, and Jamie Daniel; 14 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; and her sister, Adeline Jenkins of Three Oaks. She was preceded in death by her sister, Emma and by brothers, Bill, Louie, Art, John and Henry.
