Deshler Service For Mrs. Ehlers

Mrs. Belva Ehlers, 69, of Deshler died Tuesday, Sept. 12, at the Blue Valley Nursing Home in Hebron.

Funeral services were Sunday at the Presbyterian Church in Deshler with Rev. Brunn officiating. Burial was in the Deshler Cemetery.

She is survived by her ten children, Edward Ehlers of Indianapolis, Ind., Mrs. Gordon, Wright (Thelma) of Portland, Ore., Mrs. Claude Thurber (Louise) of Edgar, Gene Ehlers of Denver, Mrs. Leo Schleif (Vivian) of Davenport, Orrin Ehlers of Superior, Mrs. Eldon Johnson (Opal) of Arvada, Colo., S-Sgt. LaVerne Ehlers, who is in the Air Force and stationed in Germany, Cecil Ehlers of Las Vegas, and Wesley Ehlers of Lincoln; 33 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Mr. Ehlers preceded his wife in death. -- The Superior News
