Mrs. Geneva Sparks English, 50 of Rt. 3 died Wednesday in Memorial Mission Hospital in Asheville following a lengthy illness.
Mrs. English was a native of Unicoi County and a daughter of Herman and Bethel Shelton Sparks. Her parents survive her and also does her husband, Cornelius English; four sons, Harold, Tommy, Clarence and Ronald L., three daughter; Mrs. Pauline Shelton, Mrs. Grace Honeycutt and Rebecca Lynn English of home; four brother, Clarence, Edward, Donald and Dallas Spark; two sisters, Mrs. Faye Edwards and Inas Higgins, both of Flag Pond. *Source- Johnson City Press, April 20, 1973, Page 2
