I was privileged to know and love all of the Sparks Family. They have all left us except Edward, Clearance and Donald. I visited Herman & Bethel many times in their home.
The one big difference they had was that Bethel was hard of hearing and Herman could hear a pin drop. She needed the TV at almost full volume and Herman would have to turn it down. Bethel had a great love for her house flowers and she had lots of them.. She had a green thumb when it came to flowers.
Edward Sparks and I have been friends for nigh onto forty years. He was one of the first people I met when Katheryn and I move back to Flag Pond almost forty years ago. Ed and I worked together for nearly thirty years.
Herman and Bethel were two very special people in my life. Katheryn loved Bethel so very much. Another couple who left us has me wondering ""Who is going to fill their shoes"" because they left some mighty big shoes to fill.
