3 August 1978 7:20 am Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah Charles Bruce Longo 1938-1978 committed suicide on 1 August 1978. at the mouth of Emigration Canyon in a borrowed Van. His Widow born Margit Brigitta Ericsson 1939-1978 and 7 Children ages 4 to 14 jumped or was thrown from {I heard it was the top floor. {12] but everything is saying 11th floor balcony of a local Salt Lake City Hotel. In my memory the older children jumped on their own. Mother had to throw off the younger ones. Witnesses were screaming for her to STOP and NO until she was alone on that small balcony. Then the witnesses were screaming for her to JUMP and she obliged. [though that was her plan.}The Oldest Daughter Survived. She is wheelchair bound and had diminished mental capacity and eventually ended up under the Guardianship of her fathers Followers. I have read she is in a care center today. She is my age and she was one who willingly jumped and possibly helped her mother throw the younger siblings off of the balcony. This is from my memory, NOT Facts though possible close. Today that Hotel does not have balcony doors. 3 windows sealed shut above the air conditioner. Their elevators used to be glass on the outside of the building on 2nd S. and IF WE could sneak in for a ride we tried it was cool. I never went back inside after this event.There are other Nutty people who killed their family in this cemetery.
