Mrs. Lena M. Batt, 74, a former resident of Muncie, died Tuesday at her daughter's residence in Medaryville after an extended illness.

Born in Lapel, she had been a resident of Delaware County most of her life and moved to Metaryville three months ago. Mrs. Batt was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors include three daughters and five sons;

Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in Parson Mortuary Chapel, with Rev. Robert Shoff officiating. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday or prior to services Thursday.
