Blanche J. Coates Pate. Born October 17, 1895 in Aledo, TX. Died February 14, 1990 in OKC. She was the widow of Stanton S. Pate Sr. They were married in 1916 and Mr. Pate died in 1964. She was also preceded in death by a son, Stanton S. Pate Jr. who died in 1983, and a brother, Louis B. Coates.
Survivors are a daughter, Sally Lou Richardson of the home; a brother, H.B. McRee of Pauls Valley, OK; 2 granddaughters and husbands, Dickye Lou Ketcheside and John of Stockton, CA; Debbie Sue Lawrence and Mike Sr. and their 3 children, Mike Jr, Chad Stanton and Kimberly, also of Stockton. Other survivors include Louis B. Coates Jr a nephew; and Margaret Pate, a daughter-in-law, both of OKC; and other nephews living out of state.
Blanche was a lifetime member of the United Methodist Church, she was a child nursery supervisor at Nichols Hills United Methodist for nine years. During the early 50's she was president of the Robert E. Lee Chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy.
Services will be held Monday, February 19, 2 pm at the Rose Hill Mausoleum.
