Phyllis A. Berg, 54, of 303 Somerset, died Monday at Porter Memorial Hospital.
Born in Wheatfield, Oct. 29, 1920, she was the daughter of Tedd and Alma (Hight) Biggs. She was employed with the U.S. Immigration Office, serving in Hammond and eight years in Germany.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Tony (Pamela) Roybal of Valparaiso; two sisters, Mrs. Irving (Bonny Mae) Herko and Mrs. Richard (Mary Lou) Church of Valparaiso; two brothers, Devon Biggs of Anaheim, Calif., and Ted U. Biggs of Chesterton.
Services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Bartholomew Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Porter officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Wednesday.
