Mary Lou Church, 90 of Valparaiso passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 28, 2017. She was born on September 26, 1926 to Ted and Alma (Hight) Biggs in Wheatfield, IN. Mary Lou will be remembered by her family as a world class baker, who made remarkable pies and also enjoyed being a fashionista with a love for shopping. In 1941 Mary Lou married Richard Church, Sr., who preceded her in death in 1985. She is survived by their children: Richard (Sandi) Church, Jr. of Valparaiso, and Carolyn (Richard) Hudgens of Wheatfield; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sons: Stephen and Terry Church.
