Alvina Bell, age 55, Milwaukee, died May 20, 1962 at Milwaukee County General Hospital.

She was born October 16, 1906 in the town of Birnamwood, the daughter of Emil and the late Emma (Wetzel) Gast, Birnamwood.

In addition to her parents, survivors include two sons, Rueben Bell, Milwaukee and John Bell, Germany; two daughters, Elaine (Bud) Skinner, Carpentersville, IL and Joan Shields, Chicago; nine grandchildren; four brothers, Arthur Gast, Shawano, August (Joyce) Gast, Birnamwood, John (Jeanette) Gast, West Chicago and Herbert Gast, Washington; and six sisters, Carol (John) Wolf, Shawano, Harriett Gast, Downers Grove, IL, Frances (Arnold) Maahs, Wausau, Elsie (William) Zerneke, Fond du Lac, Anna (Irving) Keldsen, Minneapolis and Lorraine (Robert) Cooley, Fond du Lac.

Alvina was preceded in death by one brother, Fred Gast.

Funeral services were held May 24, 1962 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Birnamwood. The Rev. Walter Baese officiated. Interment was in Forest Cemetery, Birnamwood.
