Edward was raised in Cambria County, working both as a farmer and later as a foreman in a coal mine. On Jan 7, 1913, in Cambria County, Edward married Mae/Mary Elizabeth McGough, born in Pennsylvania (1890-1918). Edward and Mary had three children: Floyd D. Bradley (1913-1992), Margaret E.
