Obituary: BEANER - Arthur E., 47, of Shady Lane, New Paris, died Thursday, Sept. 23, 2004, at Presbyterian University Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born in West St. Clair Township, Bedford County, on Thursday, Nov. 8, 1956, he was the son of the late Cletus and Stella (Wissinger) Beaner. He was a self-employed auto body repairman. He was formerly married to Terri (Smith) Thompson, who survives, of Osterburg. He was a member of the Dunnings Creek Church of the Brethren and a 1975 graduate of Chestnut Ridge High School. He is survived by daughter, Jill D. Beaner, Osterburg; sister, Edna Mae, and companion, Donald Wishard, Bedford; sister, Nancy, wife of Sherman McClucas, Manns Choice; sister, Darlene Beaner, Hope, Ark.; sister, Betty, wife of David Webb, New Paris; special niece, Jo Ann, wife of Ben Miller, Bedford; half-brother, George Beaner, Alum Bank; half-brother, Joe Beaner, Johnstown; and half-brother, Dave Beaner, Johnstown. Funeral service at the Dunnings Creek Church of the Brethren at 2 p.m. on Sunday with the Rev. Alan Brumbaugh officiating. Interment at Fishertown Cemetery, Fishertown. Friends are invited to call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Jack H. Geisel Funeral Home, Pleasantville, and from 1:30 to 2 p.m. Sunday at Dunnings Creek Church of the Brethren.
