BEANER – David F., 71, Johnstown, died Feb. 29, 2008, at Memorial Medical Center, Main Campus. Born Oct. 6, 1936, in Bedford County, son of the late Cletus and Rachael (Varner) Beaner. Preceded in death by an infant son, Henry, and sisters, Barbara Wissinger and Anna Mae Kinsey. Survived by wife, Edith L. (Kinsey); son, David L., and wife, Linda, Johnstown; daughter, Susan L. Beaner, Vintondale; grandchildren, Adam, Gregory, Marie and Kaitlin; and three great-grandchildren. Brother of Doris Myers, Texas; George, Bedford; and Harry, Summerhill. Mr. Beaner was an auto painter at Leitenberger Machine Shop for 14 years. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Geisel Funeral Home, Dale. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Geisel-Devlin Memorial Chapel, the Rev. Ronald Barto. Interment, Richland Cemetery.
