Mrs. Henry Hardy Died in California

Word has been received in Avoca this week announcing the death of Mrs. Emma Frances Hardy at the General Hospital in Los Angeles, California, on July 14, aged 69 years. The funeral was held July 18 with burial in Valhalla cemetery.

Besides her husband she leaves one daughter, Geraldine, Mrs. Albert Lage, of Los Angeles, California, and three sons, Dewayne Butcher of Avoca; Fred Shaver of Avoca; Ben Shaver of San Francisco. Mrs. Hardy was well known in Shelby and Avoca vicinities.
