They had a daughter Gracie Mae Burroughs b 1878 d 1942 She married Charles Hazelton Maleham.

c1883 he then married Emma Jane Taylor b Mar 1863 or 1866, daughter of Moses Taylor and Susan Harriet Hill, both of Porter, Oxford, Maine (PO Box in Kezar Falls). Emma Jane remarried in Lawrence, Mass under the name of Emma Jane Burroughs to William H Guilmette aka Guillemette.
Emma's children with Howard W Burroughs: a son b 29 Feb 1884 d 29 Feb 1884 a premature birth and only lived a 1/2 hr. Then a daughter Mary E Burrows b 7 Aug 1886 d 23 Nov 1886. Both babies born in Wakefield, NH.
