Mrs. Allen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
A native of Cleveland County, she was a daughter of Enos Labon and Mary Melinda Ross Dixon.
She was retired from the textile industry.
As a member of Westwood Heights Baptist Church, Mrs. Allen was a strong and dedicated Christian, who loved her church and loved to sing in the choir.
She was a wonderful seamstress, an avid reader, cook and baker, as well as an advocate for her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eli "Frank" Allen, two sisters, three brothers and a great-grandchild.
