SHIPPENSBURG, Feb 7 -- Addison Daniel Barrick died suddenly at his home near Little Washington, R.D., on Wednesday. He was a farmer and as aged 73 years. Mr Barrick was a member of the rural Guisetown United Brethren Church. Eight children survive, Mrs Nora Jane Yohe, Carlisle; Clarence D, Webster City, Iowa; John I, Newville R.D.1; Amos H, Blairsburg, Iowa; Ira E, Hampton, Iowa; Mrs Gertrude Tritt, Perry County; Mrs Emma E Myers, Newville R.D.3, Mrs Florence Meyne, Greene, Iowa; also three brothers and two sisters, Alfred Barrick, Newville R.D; Isaac Barrick, Oliver Barrick, and Mrs Melinda Shultz, Boiling Springs; Mrs Amanda Hoffman, Newburg.
Services will be conducted at the home on Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, by the Rev Mr Fry, of Mt Hope Evangelical Church and by the Rev F A Lundahl, of Center Lutheran Church. Burial will be made in the Newville Cemetery.

His death certificate shows Addison Daniel Barrick died in Mifflin Township, son of Margaret Whistler and Daniel (should be David) L Barrick.
