John I. Barrick, 75, of RD2 Shippensburg, died Tuesday at his home.
He was the husband of the late Nadine Henry Barrick.
He was born in Cumberland County, son of the late Addison and Hannah Foster Barrick, and was a retired farmer.
He was survived by eight daughters, Louetta Barrick, at home; Mrs. Herbert (Charlotte) Tritt, Carlisle; Mrs. Marian Border, RD2 Carlisle; Mrs. Ronald C. (Julia) Miller, Newville; Mrs. Ronald (Della) Paulus, Carlisle; Mrs. Dorothy L. Mountz, Newville; Mrs. William (Beatrice) Groce, Gardners; Mrs. William (Junita) Lauver, Newville; seven sons, Floyd R., Richard R., and George B., all of Carlisle; John A., Texas; Robert E., Mount Holly Springs, William S., Newville; Amos I., Virginia; one step-daughter, Mrs. Donald (Shirley) Singer, Newville; one step-son, Carl Armolt, Carlisle; 37 grandchildren; four sisters; Mrs. Nora Yohe, Newville; Mrs. Emma Myers, Harrisburg; Mrs. Gertrude Tritt, Carlisle, and Mrs. Florence Myne, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow at the Frank C. Egger Funeral Home, 15 Big Spring Ave., Newville, with the Rev. K. Hull Byers officiating. Burial will be in the Westminster Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 9 p.m.
