Former Mystic resident Nellie Mae Milburn, 99, died April 14 at Norwalk Manor Nursing Home in Norwalk.
She was born August 24, 1881, in Appanoose County to William M. and Evaline Awalt Morlan. She married Joseph E. Milburn Nov. 12, 1899, in Mystic. He died August 24, 1962.
Survivors: daughters Mayme Abbott, Esther Hanlon and Marie Kauzlarich of Des Mones and 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and three (sic) great-great-grandchildren.
Services were at 10 a.m. Friday at the Johnson Funeral Home in Centerville, the Rev. Ernest Cook officiating. Burial was in Elgin Cemetery at Mystic.
