Unmarked grave: Checked in 2015 and 2017 and 2018. Cemetery had fire in 1916 and many wooden markers were lost and location of graves (lost) unless the family returned to put in a more permanent marker per Judy T. #47866019, 8/18/2018


Editor of Cheyenne Sunbeam weekly newspaper, 1894-1903 and editor of the Texas Panhandle, Mobeetie Texas which became the Wheeler County Texan in 1889. The newspaper operated from 1882-1900.

Excerpt from obituary: He was born in Swindon, England, fifty-three years ago. He came to this country in 1872 and entered his trade, that of a printer, in New York where he labored a good many years. He came west in 1884 settling in Mobeetie (Wheeler Co), Texas from which place he came to Cheyenne in 1893. He has lived here since, owning and operating the Sunbeam until some eighteen months ago, when he retired on account of ill health. He married in 1892 to Miss Georgie Sesse whom he leaves a widow with five little boys.
