Dansville Estate Is Valued at $29,982.47
Dansville — Transfer tax appraisal of the estate of Mary Uhl, late of the village of Dansville, who died February 27, which was filed at Geneseo last week, shows the property to have a gross value of $29,982.47.
Funeral and administration expenses of $1,582, debts of $54.72 and bequests to religious and charitable associations amounting to $700, reduce the value of the estate to a taxable net of $27,645.75. The assets include; $6,000 in real estate; mortgages, notes cash, $12,426.47; miscellaneous, $56; together with the sum of $11,500 transferred by the decedent a short time before her death, which is subject to tax.
Mrs. Margaret Freidel, sister of the decedent and Mrs. Rhea Biek, a niece, both of this village, who were named as beneficiaries, will receive $13,672.88 each.
