I like going to cemeteries & putting them online because my info/pix might lead to a family connection.

Irene Lena-Jim Collier is listed in Ritch Baptist Church Cemetery in Wayne County/K'ville area, and her obit has her buried at Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery. Please move or delete this memorial. Thank you

Peggy, I asked you six months ago to please transfer my Mother's memorial over to me to update it and to maintain, it. Both her sons, and two of her husbands have died and I want to link their memorials to hers PLUS her last name is spelled wrong here and in the obit. I have her Birth Certificate and it clearly states her last names is spelled ROMEIRA.

With all the hundreds of memorials that you have created, you cannot possible have enough time to update them on a regular basis, that is why I ask that you transfer any and all of my family's memorials to me as Jerry Van Herrin as so graciously done. I am only 53 years old and when I die, my daughter will maintain them so it is kept in the family.

Simmons Branch Cemetery
Hi Peggy,
I think you possibly created :
simmonsbranchbaptistchurch - Sylvania, Screven County Georgia with one entry of yours, Mary Gordon.
I have requested the Find A Grave admin. to move Mary to :
Simmons Branch Cemetery, Screven Co, GA.
The last one has almost 30 people listed in it.
I also requested that it be added: also known as Simmons Branch Baptist Cemetery.

After someone moves Mary Gordon they will then delete: simmonsbranchbaptistchurch , I think the one you created.
Just a heads up for you so that you will not wonder if you ever look for it again.

Please transfer my mom's memorial over to me so I can update it and maintain it. I am surprise that you beat Jerry to it but he did get to Uncle Coyle Manning's first.

Memorials are adding memorials where the obit clearly states a particular cemetery yet you add the memorial at another cemetery. Please look at the duplicate memorials you have made -- primarily at Big Creek Cemetery which should be Big Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Adding from Obits
Hi Ms Landon,

Are you aware that according to Find A Grave's rules, you are not supposed to add memorials when the location of the burial is unknown? The whole purpose of Find A Grave is that it is a graves registry. The idea of the site is to locate WHERE they are being buried.

By using the "cremated" pulldown you are actually putting false information into the database. If I were searching for my relative's grave so I could visit it - and stumbled across one of your memorial pages that said he/she was cremated - then you done me a grievous mis-service by telling me that my relative has no gravesite.

I do not mean to be a Nagging Nellie, but when I see a huge percentage of your memorials having the notation "obituary doesn't specify burial", and then when I consider all the work I have put into actually LOCATING WHERE my folks are buried, I am more than a little irked over your shortcut methods.

Please take the time (make the effort) to locate where your memorials are buried, and stop making more memorials from obits when you don't know where they're buried. And maybe some grandson or granddaughter somewhere will not be led astray by your cremation work around.
