|Geoff Oosterhoudt||re: tombstone dates/Corp James Martin Bates|
Kay - you posted a picture of (one of?) the tombstone(s) of James Martin Bates (#52096671 and possibly also #52096609), which is very high-contrast and almost impossible to read (the pic looks like it was taken in bright sunlight, possibly close to noon - the worst conditions to take one, I know). Would it be possible for you to return to the cemetery on a cloudy day, take another picture, and, if possible, do a chalk rubbing of the stone? One page on him lists his date of death as 24 March, the other (yours) as 21 March. It would be great if we could clear up the confusion and merge these two pages, and have BOTH pics on one page, if possible. As the cemetery in question for both stones is the same and a very small one, the chances of there being two James Martin Bates with very close death dates as close to nil!
Thanks for all of your work!

Thank you for correcting the information on the wife of Holland Vanlandingham.

Hi Key - I received your message about the parental information. I made the parental link but it was a suggestion at one point from those memorials' manager Tom C. Maybe you could contact him to make sure it is indeed incorrect. I read the memorial link you provided and read the caveat on the bio. It might be correct, but it could also be incorrect. I put a note on my memorial stating the parental info may be incorrect and it is being looked into. If you could get back to me with some familial lineage to verify my links are incorrect, I will be happy to remove them. I would hate to remove them without being certain. Feel free to email me directly so we may correspond. My email address is on my bio page. I am happy to work with you in getting the correct information available. Regards - Tammy

I noticed that you recently added photos of gravesites at Crawford Cemetery north of New London, MO. I was wondering if you could assist me with directions to get there. The only thing I have to go on is that it is north of town on a dirt road. MY 5th G Grandfather, James Paris, is burried there and I would like to take the 100 mile trip to go there. Please contact me at email@example.com
Thanks, James Paris

Thanks very much. I have added all three of the other Hilt family members if you would like to add the photos. I had wondered if Nick, Sr.'s wife Elizabeth was buried with him.

Thanks Kay! That was so FAST. I really appreciate you going out to photograph their gravestone. I hope I have the chance to repay the favor someday :)

I saw that you had posted some pictures for the cemetery. Thanks for doing that. I photographed all of the monuments at the cemetery last year but could not post to findagrave as they were too large. So again, Thank you.
Are you related to anyone in the cemetery?
I will be happy to transfer to you any memorial that I have done at the cemetery.
