Bio
I enjoy visiting and photographing cemeteries in memory of my parents, who spent some of their dating time in the late 1930's walking old cemeteries. My goal is to include as much information with each memorial as possible, to include photos and obituaries when available, and to honor each person as more than a name and date in a cemetery.
The obituaries that I have attached to the memorials are listed at the Paulk Funeral Home, Fitzgerald, Ga. website
http://www.paulkfuneralhome.com
and permission for use granted to me by Rick Bostelman of Paulk Funeral Home. All credit is ascribed to that website.
Many of the memorials I will be listing are from cemeteries near my home and are not necessarily my relatives. If you would like a memorial transferred to you, please let me know.
WIND WHISPERS
Wind Whispers round the rows of stone,
In this silent place.
As I humbly stand in awe,
Of the joy and tragedy they faced.
Brothers and sisters, not bone of my bone
Ancestors to us all.
As I travel miles to record each name and date,
I pray for a steady eye, hand and grace,
To honor the memory of a Mother, a Father,
A Precious Day Old Child.
Then send it forth in cyberspace,
Where forever more the
Wind Whispers
