|Ken Hutton||Luther Cemetery|
I think that the wrong headstone photos have been posted for Sydney Luther's memorial #79698848---she died in 1860, her daughter died in 1832. Ken
THE way I found the information, is, I had to go through ALL cemetery files on joyce tice's history website. Took days..
SO, as for finding the burial location on ones I couldn't find so far, Im back to going through various locations cemetery files all over schuyler and chemung counties. It will take some time.
IF I find anything, Ill letcha know..
|sandra dorsey||MARY A NICHOLS MOORE|
In viewing Mary A Nichols Moore's death certificate under a mag. light, ...there was no information for where David Nichols was born. Vital Statistics Chemung County NY did try, but they couldn't find anything on that either.
It does give, however, Eliza's birth location, which I realize is of no help.
Ill keep snooping..As you see, I am at an impasse myself. David Nichols comes to an a complete question mark as to where did he come from ..as does..my mother's father's fathers father's side.
(that line is, david b moore and marintha wheaton..they came from Pa. and NY locations..and lived in chemung county and (Ohio for a bit)..Anyway..MARY Nichols Moore, etc.. I have created, listed all info on Find A Grave..Just look up, William Moore, his wife Mary A Nichols Moore..then go to Henry Clayton Moore, Ellen/Ella M. Rion/Ryan ..I tried to connect all up on the ones I created.
|sandra dorsey||Mary A Nichols|
I have recently obtained the death certificate, of my great grandmother, MARY A NICHOLS (married name MOORE).
MARY A NICHOLS. was born 30 July 1863 in Cayuta NY to David Nichols and Eliza either Robuk or Robert according to her death certificate. Death register number 111, issued out of St. Joseph's Hospital Elmira NY on 22 Oct 1926.
SHE married a William H Moore, Elmira Ny..and they are buried in section "J" of Maple Grove Cemetery, Horseheads NY. Understand, section "J" was once known as "Potters Field"..for the extremely poor folks.
I bring this to you as, Im pretty sure, she is the lost sibling of Edger D and Benjamin F Nichols, also born in Cayuta NY, between 1852-1854 time frame..
IF you would like a copy of Mary A Nichols Moore death certificate, Im more than happy to send it to you..
I am the person Betty told you is working on Henry Randall as a new DAR patriot ancestor. He is the 5th one I have tried and seems to be working just fine so far. Working back more generations on his lines I see some near misses on Mayflower--just like for all our others. But both my husband and I have Mayflower investors. We tell people our families "owned the boat" and came later. We own several boats and sail in the ocean, so it is funnier. Our email is ; firstname.lastname@example.org I am Judy Muetz

|Darrell Landrum||Hudson Blankenship|
Hello, I was out and about yesterday trying to locate a grave to fulfill a photo request. Like many other volunteers here, I looked around the general area to see if there were other requests and came upon yours for this gentleman. Unfortunately, I did not find his grave, but think it is on private property. I approached an elderly gentleman in the area where Mr Blankenship's grave is shown to be. He said that he had lived in the area since the 1970s and never heard of Mr Blankenship. If you have any way of contacting the person who posted the very old photos of the graves to have them double check the location, pass that on to me and I will try again.
