Bio

I have been involved in collecting my family's genealogical records since 1980 largely due to my mother's and aunt's keen interest in researching their family roots. In addition, I grew up with my maternal grandmother on a plantation in Mississippi built in the 1830's by my ggg grandparents and she instilled in me at a very early age along with the rest of our family members a pride of our family's heritage. Because of the wide interest within our family, we have been lucky enough to trace our ancestry back to many famous people who helped found this country, including two passengers on the Mayflower.

As all of us who have been involved in genealogy have learned, finding long lost records is not always easy. Find A Grave has been a great help in my research and I decided that perhaps as a contributor and photographer for FAG, I might be able in some small way to help others find their answers.

If you find errors in the information that I have provided, please let me know and I will be glad to recheck grave sites if necessary. It is very important to me to be correct in compiling any information submitted to Find A Grave. I will also be happy to transfer any page to you that I have generated provided the listing does not happen to be one of my own ancestors. Also, any photographs which are submitted by me may be used by anyone on any other site without my express permission for their use since I am of the belief that they do not "belong" to me.
