Lana Fay McBride Johnson, 57, of Louisville, KY and formerly of Iowa City and Ames, passed away Friday, October 23, 2009.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Fredregill Funeral Home, 310 North Center Street, Zearing and at 10 a.m. Friday at Stonebrook Community Church, 3611 Eisenhower Avenue, Ames until the time of funeral service at 10:30 a.m.
Burial will follow at Lincoln Township Cemetery, Zearing.
Lana was active in her church and enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her mother, Marjorie McBride of Ames; her sons, Adam (Lindsey) Johnson of IL and Ray (Samatha) Johnson of TX; her fiance, Keith Pound of KY; and her sisters, Anita (Terry) Rogers of New Mexico, Kathy Davis of MO, and Kim (Richard) Ingraham of CT.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to your favorite charity in Lana's name would be appreciated.
