"She was self-sacrificing, and saw her work not as a task, but as a role she chose for herself," said Glenn Davis, her husband of more than 17 years.
Mrs. Davis died at her home on Sunday, Feb. 28, 2010, after a year long battle with cancer. She was 55.

"She felt it was important to give to Christ, and believed in sharing that love with others," Glenn Davis said.
