Mary Estell Rabun Kite

Mrs. Mary Estell Rabun Kite, age 79, of Kilmichael, passed away Friday, March 7 at Bolivar County Hospital.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 9, at New Haven Baptist Church with Rev. C. E. Burden officiating. Burial was in New Haven Cemetery with Lee Funeral Home officiating.

Mrs. Kite is survived by seven daughters, Mrs. Flora Collins, Azusa, Calif., Mrs. Ruby Tollos, Kilmichael, Mrs. Emma Naron, Sidon, Mrs. Jessie Kellum, Cleveland, Mrs. Mary Shields, Greenville, Mrs. Ruth Watts, Greenville, and Mrs. Glendel Watts, Walls; one son, Hugh Reed Kite, Coffeeville. Also two sisters, Mrs. Ambrose Lollar, Weir, and Mrs. Jimmie Lucious, Eupora, 23 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Ray Everett, Wayne Smith, James McCarley, Junior Williams, Marvin Palmer, Jimmy Tullos, Lamar Tollos and Steve Watts.
