Mrs. Watts was born on September 24, 1932 to Hugh and Mary (Rabun) Kite in Choctaw County, Mississippi. She moved to Pearl in 1985 where she retired. Mrs. Kite was a former direct care nurse and private care nurse. Her family says she had a great sense of humor and was always a joy to be near.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and six siblings; Emma Naron, Ruby Tullos, Mary Kite, Jessie Kellum, Hugh R. Kite, and Lay Kite.
Visitation is from 11:00 a.m. till service today at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 1:00p.m. today at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Itta Bena Cemetery. The Rev. George Mims will officiate.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the following; Chaplain, Nash Noble for her friendship and spiritual guidance during Mother's long illness. Margie Slade, RN for the devotion and care shown while at home and Hospice Ministries for the care,compassion and comfort given during Mother's final days.
She is survived by daughter, Virginia Vickers of Pearl; sister, Glendel and husband, Charles Watts of Horn Lake; sister, Flora Collins of Glendora, Calif.; grandson, Brian Willingham of Pearl; three great-grandchildren, Christopher Willingham of , Mass., Dallas Willingham of Raymond, Jullian Willingham of Raymond.
