Donna E. Bowser of Homer, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at Lifespan Good Samaritan Hospice Residence in Battle Creek, Michigan. She was born in 1943 to Ellis and Esther Brazee in Jackson, Michigan.In 1963 she married Larry Bowser who survives. Donna was the Librarian at Homer Public School for over 20 years. She also had worked at the Mulls Agency, Cascarelli's and City Bank & Trust. She was the Village President for 2 terms and was on the Election Board. Donna enjoyed her grandchildren's activities, she played bridge, bunko; loved reading and going tothe cabin in the Upper Peninsula. Donna is survived by: husband, Larry Bowser of Homer; daughters, Shari (Dennis) Butler of Tekonsha and Cindi (Brent) Winchell of Homer; 7 Grandchildren, Brock and Paige Winchell, Mitchell, Anthony, Kurtis, Kathleen and Brett Butler; brothers, Harold Brazee of Texas and Gerald Brazee of Coldwater She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Mary Ellen Wendorf and step-father Vernon Wood Visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday, September 11,, 2011 from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.at the J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, Michigan 49224. Funeral Service will be Monday, September 12, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Reverend Tim Marvil officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, Homer.
