Leo K. Higbie, age 91, of Oklahoma City, passed away January 21, 1999. He was born October 21, 1907 in Caddo County, Oklahoma Indian Territory. Leo was a longtime football and baseball coach at Classen High School and retired as the Executive Secretary of Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activities Association.
He is survived by his wife, Marceleete B. Higbie, of the home; son, Russell M. Higbie, Edmond and daughter, Leah Kaye Higbie Vance, Henryetta. Services will be 1:00 pm Saturday, at the Hahn-Cook/Street and Draper Chapel with interment to follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Memorials may be made to the Classen High School Alumni Association, Oklahoma City.
