Son of Nathan Edward "Doc" and Margaret Ann "Maggie" (Barnett) Caudle

Joda was the kid brother to my Grandmother, and only living son of my Great Grandparents.

He died from the Spanish Flu that took many in the area, (1918-1919, 20 to 40 million people died worldwide) that took a person with in a day. They would be fine in the morning, but died before night fall. It more or less attacked young adults, being healthy with good immune systems worked against them, sending natural antibodies to fight it, causing a person to drown.

Joda passed two days before he turned 20.

His death caused the Caudle name from Nathan's line to stop, though Nathan had many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, which has now grown to 5 Generations from he and Margaret.

He's my Grand Uncle
