Daughter of William R & Bethany Fleming Barnett.

Maggie married Nathan Edward "Doc" Caudle on Sept 28, 1890. To this union 9 children were born. Six girls and two boys. 1st son William Elzie (twin of Mary Ellen) died at 14 days old. Mary Ellen "Ellie" (my Grandmother - Frisk) their oldest died from Child Bed Fever at age 25 after the birth of her 4th child. 3nd child Nellie Ethel (Frisk) died from Breast Cancer at age 58. 4th child Bessie Ann had 3 marriages, before her death at age 90. 5th child Jessie Sarah died at one year old, 6th child, son Joda Edward died from the swine flu outbreak in 1918 at age 19. 7th child was a baby girl who was a premie, either stillborn or died at birth. 8th child Luttie Inez (Welch) lived to be 85 and is buried somewhere in Lane County Oregon (so not linked) 9th child the youngest daughter Rosa Belle (Ussery) passed at age 77.

Known History of her death;
March 5, 1912. She and Nathan were getting ready to go over to Kansas to see their first Grandchild, that being my father Ray Edward Frisk, who had been born in 14 Dec 1911. We do not know if they were leaving then or going to town to get things, but she fell from the wagon or buggy, scaring the horses, making them pull the wagon over her. They got her into the house, sitting her in a chair, where she passed 3 days later. She was short but a big woman in size, she had a very large hernia of the stomach, because of it, a normal coffin would not work, so her cousin Earl Barnett made one large enough for her, having to do this quickly, since she was buried the day after passing. Death Certificate stated cause of death: Accident, Ceberal Hemmoriage.

Her husband Nathan once when ill thinking he was about to die, had the same coffin made for himself by Earl, because he insisted that his 'Maggie' was a good woman and should of had better and he didn't deserve anything better than her. Earl kept it, or my Great Granddad Nathan did, until he was placed in it upon his own death a few years later.
