DEATH CLAIMS ROY B. BELL

Roy B. Bell, 52, Swisher resident since 1905, died early last Wednesday in Swisher County hospital following an illness of several months.

Funeral services were conducted Thursday afternoon at the Tulia First Methodist Church. The Rev. Alby J. Cockrell, pastor, officiated, assisted by the Rev. W. Neil Record, pastor of the First Baptist Church.

Mr. Bell was born January 4, 1903, at Haskell.

He came to Tulia with his parents in 1905 and had lived here since. He married Miss Leo Jones Nov. 4, 1922, at Brownfield.

He was a member of the Methodist church, Tulia Lions Club, and Swisher County Farm Bureau.

Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. June McSween of Denton; his mother, Mrs. E. D. Bell, Tulia; one brother, Edgar Bell, Tulia; a sister, Mrs. Henry Patzig, National City, Calif., and one grandson.

Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Wallace Funeral Home. Pallbearers were L. F. Campbell, Campbell Foster, Kirk Goodner, Elmer Reiss, Harry Rogers and A. H. Cooper.
