MIRE - Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 21, 1998, at Assumption Church for Hilery Touchet, Sr., 71 of Scott.
Interment was held at Assumption Cemetery in Mire. The Rev. Donald Hebert officiated at the services.
Mr. Touchet worked at Marine Appliance for 25 years and then was self-employed.
Survivors included his wife, Rosa Nell Doga Touchet of Scott;
Three daughters and their husbands,
Janelle Faul of Carencro
Lee Ana and Allen Boudreaux
Rosa Mae and Larry Forestier all of Scott, Louisiana
Three sons,
Leroy and his wife Beverly Touchet

15 Grandchildren and three great-grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents, Daphnis and Nida Touchet; one son, Jerry Lee Touchet; and one daughter Janet Boudreaux.
Pallbearers were his grandsons, Russell Faul, Jr., Patrick Boudreaux, Jr., Toby Touchet, Keith Faul, Troy Boudreaux, and Chad Touchet.
Honorary pallbearers were Louis Touchet, Justin Touchet and Dusty Boudreaux.
