Memorial services will be held Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. in Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel in Carencro for Louis Leroy Touchet, Sr., age 63, who passed away Thursday, May 16, 2013 at 6:00 a.m. at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette after an extensive illness.
Interment will be in Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cemetery in Mire.
Mr. Touchet was a native and lifelong resident of Scott.
Survivors include two sons, Louis Touchet, Jr. of Duson and Justin Touchet of Scott; two grandchildren; two brothers, Hilery Touchet, Jr. and his wife Kathy Savoie, of Carencro and Roy Touchet and his wife, Judy, of Scott; and three sisters, Janelle Faul of Breaux Bridge, Leeana Boudreaux and her husband, Allen, and Rosa Forestier and her husband, Larry, both of Scott.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hilery Touchet, Sr. and the former Rosa Nell Doga; one brother, Jerry Touchet; one sister, Janet Touchet Boudreaux; and his former wife, Beverly Cloteaux.
A rosary will be prayed at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 1:00 p.m. Tuesday until service time on Tuesday.
