Rosa Mae Touchet Forestier, age 66, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at The Carpenter House in Lafayette.
Rosa, affectionately known as "BB", was born on January 5, 1957 in Rayne, Louisiana and was a lifelong resident of Scott. She loved playing cards, going to the casino, playing bingo, and spending time with her family. Rosa will be dearly missed.
Rosa Mae Touchet Forestier is survived by her husband of 47 years, Larry Forestier; her sister Leeana Boudreaux and her husband, Allen; her brother Roy Touchet and his wife, Judy Touchet; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hilery Touchet Sr. and Rosa Nell Doga Touchet; her sisters, Janelle Faul and Janet Boudreaux; as well as her brothers, Leroy Touchet, Hilery Touchet Jr. and Jerry Touchet.
The family would like to give thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff at St. Joseph's Hospice – The Carpenter House for their care in Rosa's final days.
