Osborne Dallas Jr., was a son of Osborne Dallas Couch Sr amd Ellen Maria Coolidge. He married Lena Lacesta Goodnight October 18, 1899 in Dallas County Texas.

Five children were born to Osborne and Lena. Only one child, Zelma Mae, reached adulthood. The children were Earl Lynn (1901-1901), twins Elmo Rae (1902-1902) Zelma Mae (1902-1967), Callie Mabel (1904-1905), and Burta Irene (1907-1919).

Osborne was a building contractor for FHA, farmed and did carpentry; was a Mason and Odd Fellow. He helped build the rock church which is now the Community Center in Zephyr, charter member of the Zephyr Presbyterian Church, an Elder, Sunday School Superintendant and a commissioner to the General Assembly.

O.D. Couch, 92, of Ennis, a longtime resident of Zephyr, died at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday in a hospital at Oddfellows Home at Ennis.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the chapel at the Oddfellows Home in Ennis. A second service will be at 4 p.m. Friday in Zephyr Methodist Church with burial in Zephyr Cemetery. Wright's Funeral Home of Brownwood is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Couch married Lena Goodnight Oct. 18, 1899, in her home near Dallas. The couple moved to Brown County in 1901. Mr. Couch was building FHA houses when he retired about 31 years ago. The couple moved from Zephyr six years ago to the Oddfellows Home in Ennis. He was a member of the Methodist Church.

Survivors are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Zelma Locks of Zephyr, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
