Zelma was a twin to Elmo Rae who died as a baby. She married Phillip Locks in Brown County TX in May 1920.

Funeral for Mrs. Philip Locks, 64, of Zephyr, will be Monday at 3 p.m. in the Zephyr Methodist Church with the Rev. A.J. Wormwood and the Rev. Don Kelly officiating.

Burial will be in Zephyr Cemetery under the direction of Travis-Morris Funeral Home.

A member of the Methodist Church, Mrs. Locks died Friday at 1:10 p.m. in a Brownwood hospital after a long illness. She was born June 2, 1902 at Zephyr and had lived there all her life.

She married Philip Locks May 1920, at Zephyr. He died died Nov. 24, 1963, A youth counselor for 30 years, Mrs. Locks was a Sundat school teacher since the age of 18,

Survivors include five sons, Philip Keith and Robert Osborne of Zephyr, Oren Conrad and Don Rayford both of Roseburg, Oregon, and Richard Michael Locks of Fort Ord, Calif; her mother, Mrs, O.D. Couch of Ennis, and nine grandchildren.
