Mrs. Lorraine Bridges, age 82 of Lovelady, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2009, in Stafford, Texas. Mrs. Bridges was born December 19, 1926 in Youngstown, Ohio and had lived in Lovelady for many years. She was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church in Lovelady and was retired having worked for Wal-mart.

Survivors include her daughter Sharon Jenkins and husband Bob, of Sugar Land; sons Kenneth Bridges and wife Nancy, of Needville and Jon Bridges and wife Sara, of Houston; grandchildren Kenneth Bridges II and wife Sharon, of Killeen, Crystal Smith and husband Robert, of Houston, Amanda Maddings, of Richmond and Ryan Maddings, of San Diego, Calif.; great-grandchildren William, Lawson, Jaryd, Joirdana, Jaidyn and Faith; brother Charles Skeen and wife Dorothy, of Warren, OH; sisters Ann Greathouse, of Warren, OH and Grace White, of Missouri City; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Preceded in death by her husband Earl Bridges; and brother, Robert Skeen. Funeral Services for Mrs. Lorraine Bridges were held Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Robert Lacey officiating. Graveside Services followed at 3:00 p.m. in the Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery in Houston. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 9430 Research Echelon II, Suite 300, Austin, Texas 78759. Callaway-Allee Funeral Home
