Mrs Mabel Seaver, 80, Expires

Mrs. Mabel A. Curry Seaver, 80, of 147 Charles street, widow of Edward E. Seaver, died at 12:55 this morning in. Mercy hospital, where she had been a patient since Dec. 13, 1966. She had been ill five years.

The funeral will be Saturday at 8:30 a.m. at Poli funeral home and 9 in the Church of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Burial will be in North Watertown cemetery.

She is survived by a nephew, William Hilsinger, Mattydale; six nieces, Mrs. H. Michael (Bernice Curry) Strauss, Mrs. Florence Beard Parker and Mrs. Pearl Beard Loffler, all of Watertown, and three in Utah; and a grandnephew, Michael W Strauss.

Mrs. Seaver was the last of her family. A brother, W. Earl Curry, long-time Watertown plumber, died Oct. 15, 1965. Another brother and four sisters have also died. Born in Antwerp, April 19, 1886, Mrs. Seaver was one of seven children of Peter and Katherine Nolan Curry. She attended Ives seminary in Antwerp.

On Oct. 4, 1904, she was married in Trinity Episcopal chapel to Edward Seaver, a native of Watertown. They lived here while Mr. Seaver worked at J. B. Wise, Inc., and at Eager Electric Company. Moving to Rochester in 1922, Mr. and Mrs. Seaver both worked at : Eastman Kodak nearly 25 years. They returned to Watertown in 1947 and purchased the Charles street house.

Mr. Seaver died May 15, 1949, aged 66. Mrs. Seaver was a member of the Church of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, the Altar and Rosary society, the League of the Sacred Heart and the Legion of Mary.
