From the moment she was born, Hannah radiated an infectious joy and warmth that brightened the lives of everyone around her. A girl with sparkling blue eyes and golden hair, she filled the room with her captivating energy and love for life. Even amidst the struggles she faced, she never failed to express her love for her family, her pink blanket, and her favorite song, 'Angels We Have Heard on High,' which she especially loved singing the 'gloria' part of.
In her brief life, Hannah displayed a level of courage and resilience that moved everyone who knew her. Despite being diagnosed with a brain stem tumor on December 29, 2006, she fought bravely for nine months at Texas Children's Hospital, a testament to her enduring spirit and remarkable strength.
She leaves behind her loving parents, Michael and Brita; her brothers, John and William; her sisters, AliEmme and Rebecca; and her paternal grandparents, Tom and Shirley Binns of Salt Lake City, UT, her maternal grandmother, Doris Hunsaker of Sandpoint, ID, a great-grandmother, along with a host of uncles, aunts, and cousins across the intermountain west.
Although she is no longer with us, Hannah's spirit continues to inspire everyone who knew her. Her battle has taught us the importance of resilience, the power of positivity, and the value of cherishing each moment. We will always remember her for her courage, her joy, and her heartwarming smile.
In memory of Hannah Binns, let us remember the lessons she unknowingly taught us and strive to live with the same bravery and love for life she embodied. Even though she was only with us for a short time, her influence will be felt for a lifetime. May her sweet soul rest in peace.
