Glenn E. Anderson, 79, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at Select Specialty of York. He was the husband of Joyce A. (Drawbaugh) Anderson with whom he celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary on September 11, 2012.

Glenn was born in York County, on August 7, 1933, son of the late Jonas and Ethel (Beck) Anderson.

Mr. Anderson was self employed as the owner of Anderson Car Washes.

He is survived by two children, Jodie R. Anderson and his wife, Tammi, and Cheryl L. Anderson Martin and her husband, Kenneth, all of Dover; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Patricia Stoner of Dover, Linda Bixler of Dover, and Nancy Provost of York; and one brother, Dale Anderson of Cly. He was preceded in death by a son, Randy E. Anderson; three brothers; and a sister.

There will be a private funeral service 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at the LeRoy R. Leber Funeral Home, Inc., 2290 School St., York (Shiloh). Officiating will be the Rev. Matthew Loyer. Final resting place will be in St. John's Cemetery of Rossville, Dover.
