He was born January 3, 1947, in Conewago Township, a son of the late Jonas and Ethel B. (Beck) Anderson, Jr.
Jake was a mechanic. He had attended Dover Schools.
In addition to Dorothy,
Jake is survived by six children, Chris Anderson, Larry Anderson, Jr., Doug Anderson, Pam Hoffman, Nicole Anderson, and Leslie Heart; nine grandchildren; four sisters, Linda Bixler, Patricia Stoner, Nancy Provost, and Marie Hake; and three brothers, Dale Anderson, Glenn Anderson, and Gene Anderson.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Rosella Anderson and Phyllis Anderson; and a brother, Donald Anderson.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral at 10 a.m. and the viewing from 9 to 10 a.m. on Friday at Emig Funeral Home, 47 N. Queen St., Dover.
Burial will follow in Rohlers Mountain View Cemetery. Officiating will be the Rev. Thomas Gilman, pastor of Manchester Assembly of God.
