The Huntsville Times, Huntsville, Alabama Thursday, August 13, 1981. William Elsie Acuff, 83, of 507 Halsey Ave., died Wednesday at Medical Center Hospital. The funeral will be Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with Tommy Rosenblum and Tom Scott officiating. Burial will be in Charity Cemetery. Survivors include four sons, Otha “Buster” Acuff of Toney, William H. Acuff and Victor R. Acuff, both of Huntsville, and James B. Acuff of Athens; a daughter, Mrs. Jettie Sue Koster of Huntsville; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Lou Sanders of Huntsville and Mrs. Sarah Adair of Chattanooga; 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
