Mrs. James Acuff, 63, died this morning at 4 o'clock at the residence, 319 Rison Avenue, following a long illness. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 4 o'clock at the home, with Homer P. Reeves, minister of the Central Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will follow in Charity cemetery, with Womack in charge of arrangements. Surviving are the husband; one son, William Acuff; four daughters, Mrs. Minnie Luna, Mrs. Ovena Sharp and Sara Acuff all of Huntsville, and Mrs. Emma (Dallas) Sanders, of Tennessee; and two brothers, Sam and Charles Hale, both of McMinnville, Tenn. Pallbearers at the funeral will be John McBride, Bob Knowles, H. P. Patton, Lloyd Polk, Raymond Smith and Horace Anderton.
