Mable M. Pardoe, 82, of Bellefonte, died Friday, Aug. 23, 1996, at her residence.
She was born in Ironsville, Snyder Township in Blair County, on Aug. 18, 1914, a daughter of the late Howard F. and Clara B. Park Hunter. In Cumberland, Md., on July 21, 1933, she married Donald Ira Pardoe, who died Dec. 25, 1991.
She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Belle-fonte.
She was a graduate of Tyrone Area High School.
Prior to her marriage, she worked at Wilson Chemical Co. in Tyrone and at the Grier School for Girls in Huntingdon County.
She was a member of Crystal Springs Rebekah Lodge 25 of Belle-fonte and The Centre Community Hospital Auxiliary, Bellefonte Chapter.
She is survived by one daughter, Bernice M. Pardoe of Bellefonte; one son, Kenneth D. Pardoe of Bellefonte; three sisters, Louise Updike of Tyrone, Betty Brisbin of Nealmont and Martha Stewart of Bellefonte; and one brother, Melvin Hunter of Ironsville.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Wetzler Funeral Home, 206 N. Spring St., Bellefonte.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. David A. Keller and the Rev. James F. Fox officiating.
Burial will be at Centre County Memorial Park, College Township.
