Betty A. Brisbin, 96, of Tyrone died Friday March 12, 2021 at Colonial Courtyard, Tyrone.

She was born November 30, 1924 in Ironsville, a daughter of Howard Foster and Clara Belle (Parks) Hunter. On January 11, 1946 in Tyrone she married Samuel Brisbin who preceded her in death February 3, 1980.

Surviving are 2 sons; Samuel and wife Nancy of Tipton, David and wife Jody of Tyrone, a daughter, Deborah Castagnola and husband Nick of Tyrone, 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren and 2 sons-in law Richard Wike and James Lewis. She was preceded in death by 2 daughters; Carol Wike and Darlene Lewis and a daughter-in-law Beverly Brisbin.

She was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd, Tyrone and was formerly employed at the Tyrone Herald and Big Yank

Betty enjoyed her family and grandchildren, being with friends from Nealmont, going to the beach, bowling and shopping.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday March 16, 2021 at 11 A.M. at Feller Memorial Home with Rev. Eric Shafer officiating. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 A.M. until the time of services.
